Mr. Adams’ experience includes serving as a “C level” executive in the hospitality industry for the last 25+ years. Prior to his career in the hospitality industry, he practiced as a Senior Auditor and then, as a Supervising Management Consultant, with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC). After PWC he practiced as an advisory services Partner while with Strategic Growth International, a strategic alliance firm of KPMG.

Currently, and since December 2014, Ken has practiced as the Chief Development Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Hybrid1, LLC, a firm with a focus on location-based entertainment (LBE) project globaly, such as Resorts / Casinos / Theme Parks / Water Parks / Food & Beverage / Wellness, Health & Spa Development. The Firm always stays in its projects to work closly with local partners as equity participants and eventually overseeing operations.

Prior to Hybrid1 he was with TKO Hospitality Advisory Group, he served as the General Manager/Managing Director and Acting CFO of a publicly traded hospitality development company in Doha, Qatar where he and his team developed and implemented the strategic turnaround plan for The Pearl Qatar’s Hospitality Development Company (HDC). The Pearl Qatar, a $14 Billion man-made island developed as a Luxury Community to be home for 50,000 people with upscale retail, fashion, entertainment and restaurants. He and his team were successful in reaching the first ever cash-flow positive results for HDC, within their first 12 months of directing the project.

Other major international projects have included: 1) the start-up, in Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq, of a company focused on developing fast casual, casual and fine dining restaurants along with international hotel brands within the Hilton and Hyatt portfolios, 2) the turnaround and restructuring of a group headquartered in Kuwait which owned and operated over 300 restaurants in the Middle East and United Kingdom.

In 2008 through 2009, Mr. Adams served as Board Member, President and Lead Partner in the acquisition and turnaround of Hurricane Grill & Wings a casual dine, sports focused concept consisting of 40+ restaurants. From 2001 to early 2008, he served as Board Member, CEO and CFO of Sunshine Restaurant Ventures LLC in Atlanta, GA whereby he was a partner in a multi-franchise business with brands including Friendly’s, Bojangles Chicken & Biscuits, Denny’s, Hop’s Brew Pub, Up the Creek Fish Camp & Grill, Quaker Steak & Lube and, Damon’s Ribs. From 1990-2001, he served as Board Member, President and CFO of Southern King Enterprises in Atlanta, GA whereby he created a multi-unit franchise group operating Burger King restaurant in three states.

Mr. Adams served in the U.S. Navy submarine force as a Ratio and Communications Technician and as a Lead Ship’s Diver. He has also served as an adjunct professor of Accounting and Economics at North Georgia College, Western Carolina University and North Carolina State University. He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Accounting and received his Executive Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Miami.
